Robert Johnson, D.Sc., Founder and Technical Director Bob has received national, state and local honors and awards including the NASA Achievement Award, the VT Governor's Award for Outstanding Effort, and Brattleboro Sustainable Business Award. Roland Currier, Division Controller Roland has over 25 years experience in the management and supervision of all areas of accounting, financing and budgeting at both the plant and corporate levels, along with handling all of the Delta Campus accounting activities. David McManus, Business Development David has two decades of green business start-up experience under his belt, and has been involved with renewable electric generation, energy efficiency, and biofuel project development since 2001. He is responsible for developing projects and partnerships. | Jonathan Hillman - Project Engineer & Certified Passive House Consultant Jonathan is a recent graduate of UMass Lowell’s Energy Engineering program. He concentrated in solar energy with additional projects in subjects of wind energy, ground source heat, and passive house design. Jonathan comes fresh from Team Massachusetts, a team participating in an international event call the Solar Decathlon. Also, with two trips to Peru installing and maintaining a wind powered water pump which he designed and built out of recycled automobile components, hands on experience makes him a well rounded designer and implementer. Steve Redmond - Project Engineer Steve is in charge of our methane digester project. Steve has worked at Omega Optical as a Project Engineer, Engineering Manager, and Director of Software Development. Steve came to Omega from Altair Avionics, a division of Pratt & Whitney Canada, where as a documentation specialist, he wrote FAA installation and flight manuals for turbojet monitoring systems and the FAA repair station manual. Before that he worked as a technical support analyst at Quality Systems International. Steve also ran a design business as a naval architect for 20 years, and wrote a regular technical design column for WoodenBoat magazine for three years. David Gabriel - Project Manager Dave has a broad range of capabilities - from home remodeling and weatherization, to landscaping and geothermal system installations. The team looks to Dave to lead all our single and multi-family housing energy upgrade projects. Gordon Bristol - Project Manager Gordon is a former VT legislator with many years of project alignment and implementation experience. He has been instrumental in the timely and cost saving completion of numerous assignments including the development of Delta Campus, construction of the Omega Optical's LEED gold registered building, and the INSPIRE for Autism school. |
